Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo has learned that Denza, the premium new energy vehicle brand under the BYD Group, staged its European launch at the Palais Garnier in Paris on April 8. The debut of the flagship Z9GT and D9 models to the European public marks a significant step forward in Denza's globalization strategy.

Denza is introducing three models to the region first: the Z9GT DM-i super hybrid, the Z9GT pure electric, and the D9 DM-i. As the brand’s flagship shooting brake, the Z9GT rides on the Yi San Fang technology platform and offers both pure electric and super hybrid powertrains. Its electric variant sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, while independent rear-wheel steering enables high-precision maneuvers like "compass turns" and diagonal "crab walking" in tight spaces.
The D9 DM-i, Denza’s flagship MPV, delivers a pure electric range of 210 km and a combined range of 950 km when fully fueled and charged. Balancing robust performance with daily practicality, it aims to provide European customers with a luxury mobility solution for all scenarios.
The event also featured the European debut of flash-charging technology. Built on BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, the system is designed to alleviate charging anxiety in low temperatures and enhance the convenience of electric mobility.
Pre-sale pricing for the Z9GT was revealed shortly after the event, with listings going live on Denza’s official website across seven countries including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The official pre-sale price starts at approximately 115,000 euros (over 900,000 yuan).
Denza is accelerating its European footprint. By the end of 2026, the brand plans to cover more than 30 countries and establish over 150 retail outlets across the continent. On the charging front, BYD intends to deploy 6,000 overseas flash-charging stations globally—including 3,000 in Europe—to build a robust energy replenishment network.
