Gasgoo Munich - On February 4, DOBOT kicked off mass production and delivery of the third batch of its full-size industrial humanoid robot, ATOM. The milestone marks an acceleration in deploying the unit to frontline industrial operations globally. Previously, ATOM completed two delivery rounds alongside deep scenario validation.

For a full-size humanoid robot built for industry, robust dynamic balance and precision handling are non-negotiable. To achieve this, ATOM is powered by DOBOT's proprietary DOBOT-VLA model acting as its "brain." Leveraging end-to-end technology to fuse vision, language, and action, the model allows the robot to interpret general instructions, navigate cluttered environments, and autonomously plan task chains—essentially building adaptive intelligence rooted in scene understanding.
Take the popcorn robot deployed at the Shenzhen K11 cinema: it operates as an intelligent agent capable of sensing its surroundings, making autonomous judgments, and self-correcting.
Beyond intelligence, ATOM's design adheres strictly to industrial-grade standards, spanning hardware selection, structural reinforcement, and thermal protection. Joint modules have endured nearly 10,000 cycles of testing, while a real-time dynamic balance algorithm ensures rapid stability recovery after impact—critical in industrial settings where downtime results in financial loss. The design also draws heavily on DOBOT's engineering experience from deploying over 100,000 collaborative robots worldwide.
On the application front, ATOM can swap end-effectors for gripping, assembly, and inspection tasks, while supporting multi-robot coordination. Dispatched via a unified platform, these units can synchronize to tackle complex operations with the coordination of a highly coordinated workforce—a capability proving vital for flexible production lines and warehousing logistics.
As part of DOBOT's "Embodied AI Multi-Form Robot Super Factory," ATOM collaborates with wheeled and quadrupedal robots under a single intelligent hub. This integration offers customers truly flexible productivity solutions.
Currently, ATOM is in use across industrial gripping, assembly, and commercial service scenarios, where its stability, reliability, and efficiency are gaining validation in the market.
