Gasgoo Munich- EYOU Robot Technology formally unveiled three new product lines at its annual technical exchange on January 22: the PHU enhanced harmonic integrated joint, the RHU humanoid harmonic integrated joint, and the RP humanoid planetary joint.
Building on the PH series, which has seen production exceed 100,000 units, the PHU joint is optimized for scenarios ranging from collaborative robotic arms to industrial automation. It integrates Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality, supports high-precision force control modules, and features dual communication protocols via CAN and EtherCAT. Significantly, EYOU Robot Technology has introduced automated production lines for this series for the first time—a move to control costs while boosting consistency. The PHU has now entered the start of production (SOP) phase, with regular mass production slated to begin after the Lunar New Year.

Tailored for humanoid robots and high-end mobile platforms, the RHU series targets miniaturization and high integration. For equivalent torque output, volume and weight are cut by roughly 30% compared to conventional products, freeing up valuable space for overall structural design. Despite its compact footprint, the RHU retains support for dual communication protocols, STO, and optional force control modules—all while lowering the cost barrier for humanoid robot joints.

Addressing the combined demands for impact resistance, lightweight design, and cost in humanoid planetary joints, EYOU Robot Technology introduced the RP series. This unit employs cross-roller bearings and a clamp-reinforced structure to enhance mechanical impact resistance, while an inductive encoder prevents position signal loss during physical collisions. With a torque density of 114Nm/kg, it is designed for high-intensity movements in humanoid robots ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters in height. The company noted that by leveraging supply chain integration and scaled manufacturing, the RP series achieves deep cost optimization alongside its performance gains.

EYOU Robot Technology noted that its portfolio now spans both harmonic and planetary technological paths. Through automated production layouts and supply chain controls, the company is driving high-performance joints toward mass adoption. The launch of these three product lines is expected to provide robust support for robotics firms—particularly those in the humanoid sector—during the selection and volume manufacturing of core joints.
