Gasgoo Munich- InfiMotion Technology has rolled out the first batch of prototypes from its smart high-voltage, high-integration e-drive project, according to Gasgoo. The milestone on May 12 marks another strategic upgrade in capacity and technology for the company, following its establishment in Wuxi in 2022.

Signed in August 2025, the initiative is a joint effort between InfiMotion Technology and the Huishan Economic and Technological Development Zone. It carries a total investment of 3.3 billion yuan and covers a planned construction area of roughly 60,000 square meters. Focused on industrializing high-voltage platforms and highly integrated e-drive systems, the facility aims to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions to global automakers.
In less than a year, the project moved from signing and design to topping out the plant and commissioning the first production lines. The main structure was completed on November 18, 2025. So far, 14 stator and rotor lines, three electronic control lines, and one motor assembly line have been largely commissioned, with remaining equipment arriving on schedule. Once fully operational, the facility will have an annual capacity of 300,000 e-drive units, 1 million motors, and 600,000 controllers—capacity designed to help InfiMotion Technology secure large-scale orders from both domestic and overseas markets.
InfiMotion Technology has established a global R&D and manufacturing network spanning Wuxi, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing, and Quzhou in China, as well as Gothenburg, Sweden. With a workforce exceeding 6,000, the company generated over 14 billion yuan in total revenue in 2025.
The debut of these prototypes marks a critical step in the pre-production phase. Built on a high-voltage platform with deep integration technology, the system reportedly hits international benchmarks for power density, efficiency, and vibration and noise. Notably, the unit is slated for use in vehicles from a major European brand, serving as InfiMotion Technology’s flagship offering as it pushes into the high-end overseas market.
