IM LS6 Cumulative Deliveries Reach 100,000 Units

Originally launched on October 12, 2023, the LS6 has seen continuous updates. On September 10, 2025, IM Motors unveiled the next-generation LS6. Positioned as a "super-sized five-seat intelligent SUV," the new model offers both pure electric and extended-range variants, with official pricing ranging from 197,900 to 269,900 yuan.

The powertrain debuts the "Stellar Super Range-extended" system, delivering 450 kilometers of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,500 kilometers. It supports 800V ultra-fast charging and boasts fuel consumption of just 0.06 liters per 100 kilometers.

Under the skin, the vehicle adopts the new "Agile Lizard Digital Chassis," designed to enhance handling and safety. Key features include "Agile Lizard Blowout Stability Control," which maintains vehicle stability even during a high-speed blowout on a curve, and an "Active Anti-Rollover 2.0" system that claims to cut rollover risks by 45%. The "Agile Lizard Super RWD" system boosts stability during high-speed lane changes or on wet surfaces, covering 80% of scenarios traditionally requiring four-wheel drive. Additionally, a bidirectional 18-degree four-wheel steering system gives the all-wheel-drive version a turning radius of just 4.49 meters, sharpening agility and control.

The cabin emphasizes space efficiency, claiming a "90% utilization rate" to maximize passenger and storage areas. The "Super Right Row" offers three modes: zero-gravity, lounge, and a folded-forward co-pilot configuration for versatility. Comfort and entertainment features include a 21-speaker Tianlai audio system, an 11-liter double-door refrigerator, and a 3K Mini LED immersive entertainment screen.

For safety, the structure employs a "ten-longitudinal, ten-transverse omnidirectional closed-loop submarine cage" design, paired with multi-scenario AEB and lateral emergency avoidance (AES) systems. IM Motors notes that the LS6's battery system already meets the strictest national standards set for 2026 and maintains a "zero spontaneous combustion" safety record.

On the intelligence front, the LS6 runs on IM AIOS and introduces an AI Agent smart assistant for the first time. It integrates with the WeChat ecosystem to enable services like parking payments and food delivery. For driver assistance, the new LS6 offers pure-vision and LiDAR versions, with optional upgrades including the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor chip and 520-line LiDAR.

The new LS6 makes over 100 features standard across the lineup, from entry-level to top-spec trims. These include the Agile Lizard Digital Chassis, NVIDIA Orin X, Qualcomm 8295P chips, an 800V high-voltage platform, and the next-generation Hurricane electric motor. The company emphasizes that even the base model retains core technologies, aiming to establish a clear competitive edge in its segment.
