“the most proper auto company for Michigan are the companies want to strengthen its core technology.” Nigel Francis, a Michigan auto industry consultant so expressed during interview with Tencent Auto reporter. At recent Global Auto Forum, Nigel Francis leads his new Michigan State auto industry team in China and holds a media conference with Chinese part about auto area cooperation. After conference, Nigel told Tencent Auto that Michigan welcomes Chinese auto companies invest into Michigan, particularly welcome companies have their own core technology.
From 14 Oct, Michigan state governor appoints Nigel as auto industry consultant, leading officers, auto industry experts, finance consultant, international taxers,]accountants and relative companies management to China for 9 days visit, includes joining Global Auto Forum from 17 to 18 Oct. It aims to cooperation within auto industry area with China.
Nigel holds a media conference at Global Auto Forum, which explain Michigan economy and auto industry policies in details. According to Michigan government statistics, there are more than 100 Chinese auto companies build their branches into Michigan, which concerns with 1 billion dollars. 95% of them concern with auto industry.
Theoretically, every single company relevant with auto industry can invest into Michigan, but the most suitable company is technology longing. Nigel told Tencent Auto reporter that company with research capability is more suitable for Michigan investment; he wants to introduce this kind of companies into Michigan.
