Over 7000 imported Subarus recalled

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai January 4) - The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has announced a recall of 7,133 imported Subaru Legacy sedans and Outback SUVs due to a flaw in their brake master cylinders, Xinhua Daily reported today. The models in question were manufactured from late September to late November of 2011. AQSIQ had announced a safety warning regarding the Subaru vehicles a few days ago.

Subaru China will conduct free inspection and maintenance of all affected vehicles. Owners of affected vehicles can contact the manufacturer to set up appointment to have repair work carried out.
