TOKYO -- After four years of delays, Mazda Motor Corp. says it will make good on its plan to bring diesel vehicles to the United States, announcing today it will introduce the technology in the new-generation CX-5 crossover next year.

Kokomo, Ind. — General Motors says about 160 jobs are being cut from a plant in Kokomo, Indiana, after the automaker announced it would stop producing semiconductors there by mid-2017.

FRANKFURT -- Daimler, BMW and Volkswagen are in discussions with a German autobahn service station operator about setting up a nationwide network of charging stations in the country, a German newspaper reported.
