Gasgoo Munich- Renesas Electronics announced two senior executive appointments on March 2, 2026, aimed at bolstering regional management and business execution in India and China. The changes are effective March 1.
Malini Narayanamoorthi, formerly the India Country Manager and Vice President of Engineering for the Analog and Mixed Signal Group, has been named President and Vice President of Renesas Electronics India. Having previously spearheaded client expansion and key project delivery in the country, she also strengthened cross-regional engineering collaboration. In her new capacity, Narayanamoorthi will oversee strategic advancement in India, leveraging the local technology ecosystem and engineering talent base to capture opportunities arising from national priorities.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Liu — a veteran with 26 years in the semiconductor industry — has been appointed President and Vice President of Renesas Electronics China. Before joining Renesas, she served as General Manager of NXP Semiconductors' Greater China automotive business, where she managed cross-functional teams. Her career spans automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, IoT, and cybersecurity sectors. Liu will take full charge of Renesas' operations and strategic execution in China, driving customer partnerships and ecosystem collaboration.
Both executives will report directly to Hidetoshi Shibata, CEO of Renesas Electronics. Shibata noted that India and China are critical to Renesas' long-term growth, adding that these moves aim to deepen client relationships and bolster regional competitiveness. The appointments underscore Renesas' commitment to strengthening integrated team structures across its key Asian markets.
