The statement clarifies that the "Qijing" brand is a premium smart new-energy vehicle marque jointly developed by GAC Group and Huawei Qiankun. It integrates GAC’s expertise in core EV technologies—battery, motor, and control—and vehicle manufacturing with Huawei Qiankun’s strengths in assisted driving, smart cockpits, user ecosystems, and brand marketing, all aimed at delivering an intelligent mobility experience.
GAC Group, the founding shareholder of Qijing Auto, provides comprehensive support backed by its mature manufacturing systems and market experience. Meanwhile, Yinwang (Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution BU) acts as a strategic partner, fully empowering the brand through its "Huawei Qiankun" solutions. The designation "Huawei Qiankun | Qijing" signifies that the entire Qijing lineup is equipped with Huawei Qiankun’s advanced intelligent technology.
The statement emphasizes that Qijing is the product of open collaboration. To ensure the public clearly understands the brand’s identity, the company advocates for strict adherence to brand naming guidelines in all communications, preserving the brand's autonomy and the legal rights of its partners. Expressions that bundle "Huawei" with "Qijing"—such as "Huawei Qijing" or "Huawei Qiankun Qijing"—are strictly prohibited, as they may cause misunderstanding or infringe upon the legitimate rights of the related brands.
The statement concludes by underscoring that cyberspace is not beyond the reach of the law and that freedom of speech has its limits. Qijing Auto calls on netizens and the media to refrain from spreading rumors, helping to maintain a clean and healthy online environment. The company expressed a willingness to work with all sectors to drive the industry’s sound development.
Officials previously revealed that Qijing will feature a unique visual identity, with its logo set to officially debut this year (2026). Additionally, the vehicle's definition was developed with Huawei Qiankun’s ADS high-speed L3 conditional autonomous driving architecture in mind, aiming to deliver a relaxed, high-level intelligent driving experience.
