Gasgoo Munich-Leapmotor unveiled the all-new C11 on June 16, 2026, marking the fifth evolution of its C-series. Positioned as a "tech luxury sports SUV," the model debuts in both pure electric and range-extended versions, with official guide prices ranging from 143,800 to 159,800 yuan.

Since the initial C11 launch in 2021, the C-series has carved out a niche in the 120,000 to 200,000 yuan mainstream family SUV segment, with global cumulative sales surpassing 800,000 units. Amid fierce competition, the C11 stands as one of the few domestic new-energy models to successfully navigate the product "death valley."
Leveraging a decade of proprietary full-domain technology, the new C11 systematically brings luxury sports features typically found in the 300,000 yuan class down to the 150,000 yuan mainstream. The move aims to address shortcomings in peer models regarding advanced driver assistance, premium chassis, and smart cabins.
The new model adopts the brand’s "Tech Natural Aesthetics" design language, achieving a drag coefficient as low as 0.28Cd. Exterior updates include an exclusive matte "Yunqi Gold" finish and a subtle blue light indicating advanced driver assistance status, paired with 20-inch swept-wing aluminum alloy wheels that balance elegance with power. Inside, the cabin features slanted eucalyptus wood trim and velvet-textured laser-engraved wireless charging panels to elevate the premium feel. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colors and two interior schemes to suit diverse tastes.

The new C11 delivers "comfort equality for all passengers." Standard across the lineup are segment-exclusive Nappa leather front zero-gravity seats reclining to 124 degrees, featuring suction ventilation, 8-point massage, and all-around heating. Rear passengers get new folding tray tables, along with backrest adjustment at 27 or 32 degrees and ventilation heating. Thanks to a class-leading 2,930mm wheelbase, rear legroom is exceptional.
Powertrain and range are central to this upgrade. The pure electric version packs an 81.9 kWh battery with a standard 800V silicon carbide platform and 3C fast charging, delivering a CLTC range of 640 km and recharging from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes. The range-extended version offers 300 km of electric range and a total range of 1,220 km, with fuel consumption as low as 5.11 liters per 100 km at low charge levels. Notably, the range-extended model also supports 3C charging, significantly boosting replenishment speeds.
On the intelligent front, the new C11 employs a dual Qualcomm chip architecture separating cockpit and driving functions: the SA8295P powers the cabin, while the SA8650 handles autonomous driving. The vehicle is equipped with 28 high-precision sensors, including a 300-meter LiDAR. The LiDAR version comes standard with permanent, free door-to-door navigation assistance, covering scenarios from autonomous parking exit to destination entry. Inside, a 17.3-inch 3K central screen, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and 60-inch AR-HUD work in unison for a fluid user experience.
Staying true to its sports DNA, the new C11 is the only model in its class to feature standard front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, constructed with aluminum alloy to reduce unsprung mass. It also utilizes FSD continuous variable damping shock absorbers and a Bosch Huayu steering system, blending comfort with handling agility. Braking is handled by a Continental One-Box system with front four-piston fixed calipers, bringing the stopping distance from 100 km/h down to just 35.5 meters.
Safety-wise, the vehicle employs a "nine-cross, three-longitudinal" cage body structure, with high-strength steel accounting for 81.9% of the frame. Critical areas like the A and B pillars use 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel, comparable to nuclear submarine standards. Battery safety relies on the CTC 2.0 Plus integrated protection system, designed to prevent fire for 48 hours even during thermal runaway. Active safety features have been expanded with six new functions, including low-speed and reverse emergency braking, covering common accident scenarios.
Capitalizing on the dividends of its proprietary technology and economies of scale, Leapmotor’s new C11 introduces high-end features into the mainstream price bracket, aiming to deliver an experience that exceeds expectations for Chinese families. With the launch of the new C-series, Leapmotor is poised to further cement its leading position in the new-energy vehicle market.
