Some carpet mats installed into Lexus ES350, Camry and Camry Hybrids could roll forward and interfere with accelerator pedals if they were not stuck to the floor.
Toyota Motor Corp will set up Special Committee for China Quality at the first Special Committee for Global Quality at the automaker's headquarters in Toyota city. FTMS, GTMC, Lexus will work together to participate in different lines of business to address customer concerns.

Special Committee for China Quality said, as one of the prompt recall decision-making activities, Toyota Motor Corp will install brake override systems by the end of 2010 in all vehicles sold in China.
