WAIC 2026 | MagicLab Launches Three New Robot Products, Embodied Intelligence Accelerates Entry into Factories and Public Scenarios

Edited by Greg From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich-The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference kicked off in Shanghai on July 17. MagicLab took the stage to unveil three strategic new products: the flagship full-size humanoid robot MagicBot X1, the industrial wheeled humanoid MagicBot D1, and the light-industry quadruped MagicDog T1. The company also showcased its latest developments in the self-developed general embodied large model, Magic-VLA K02.

Standing 180 centimeters tall with 31 active degrees of freedom, the MagicBot X1 boasts a peak single-joint torque of 450 N·m. It pulled off high-dynamic moves like slam dunks and table tennis rallies during the demo, proving its whole-body coordination and balance in unstructured environments. Turning to industrial use, the wheeled MagicBot D1 targets high-frequency factory workflows. Leveraging visual recognition and force-control robotic arms, it handles material grasping, cross-zone transport, and production line loading—while supporting fleet scheduling. The unit is already in routine operation at a Dreame smart manufacturing facility, handling real production tasks. Rounding out the lineup, the quadruped MagicDog T1 features a lightweight, modular design. Capable of mounting robotic arms and sensors, it is built for decentralized tasks like campus patrols and equipment monitoring.

On the software front, MagicLab unveiled its general embodied large model, Magic-VLA K02. Live demonstrations covered long-horizon tasks such as box stacking and sealing, folding flexible clothing, and packing luggage—with the integrated box-stacking and sealing operation achieving a success rate exceeding 90%. The model employs a dual-system architecture combining high-level task understanding with low-level action execution. The company says it has moved beyond replicating single steps in the lab to delivering fully autonomous workflows in real-world scenarios.

In terms of deployment, MagicLab has already penetrated nine scenarios, ranging from industrial manufacturing and public safety to smart guidance and event entertainment. This past April, its traffic-management humanoid robot, "Xiaomai," handled crowd control and assistance services at the Wuxi Marathon. Previously, robots from this series participated in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, the Scottish Premiership, and the "China Night" event at the Cannes Film Festival, managing hundred-unit cluster performances and continuous guidance tasks. The company pledged to keep iterating on software and hardware in tandem, accelerating the transition of embodied intelligence from technical validation to a productive, everyday reality.
