Zeng Qinglin: Yijing Auto Finalizes Top 100 Dealers, Over 300 "Yijing's Home" Stores to Debut

Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo has learned that Yijing Auto General Manager Zeng Qinglin recently revealed on social media that the brand has finalized its first batch of top 100 dealers. Over the coming months, more than 300 "Yijing's Home" outlets across 79 cities are set to begin operations.

Zeng also shared insights from conversations with dealer principals, noting that their decision to pivot from traditional luxury brands like BBA to Yijing hinges on two factors. First, they are bullish on the smart EV sector, believing technology has redefined the essence and competitive landscape of luxury. Second, they recognize Yijing's inherent strengths—particularly the dual empowerment of solid manufacturing capabilities backed by a central state-owned enterprise and Huawei's leading technology.

Looking back at the brand's inception, Yijing was officially unveiled on November 20 last year at the Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Conference. It is a joint creation of Dongfeng Motor and Huawei Qiankun. Positioned for the high-quality family market, it stands as the first product of deep collaboration between a central state-owned automaker and Huawei. The two parties pioneered a new industry model of joint definition, joint development, and joint operations, pooling their respective resources. Wang Junjun, General Manager of Dongfeng Yipai Automotive Technology, previously stated that this project is the result of three years of dedicated effort. It combines a single team and billions in funding.

Just a month after the brand's launch, the Yijing project achieved a new milestone with the successful rollout of its first engineering prototype. According to the plan, Yijing's debut product will be a full-size SUV. This model also made its first appearance at last November's Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Conference.
