Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the New Excelle amounted to 36,418 units, up 11 % year on year, the first on August, 2017 sales ranking of sedans, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Sylphy amounted to 35,565 units, up 27 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 241,763 units. August sales of the Jetta reached 34,864 units, decreasing 5 % year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 207,754 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
