Wang Fachang to become Chairman of FAW Car

Shanghai, April 28 (Gasgoo.com) Wang Fachang, deputy general manager of FAW-Toyota, was appointed the new deputy general manager of FAW Car Co, effective from June, Beijing Times reports Tuesday.

Before joining FAW Toyota in 2003, Mr Wang became the deputy general manager of FAW Volkswagen in 1997 and the former general manager of FAW Car Co in 1998.
  
Congming Tian, executive deputy general manager of Tianjin Faw Xiali Automobile Co currently, will replace Wang to become deputy general manager of FAW-Toyota.

Lin Muhong, an industry analyst at Shanghai-listed Xingye Securities, said the personnel adjustment highlights FAW''s determination to develop own-brand cars.
