Sinotruck's Q1 operating revenue falls 14.07%

Shanghai, May 5 (Gasgoo.com) China's truck maker Sinotruk reported operating revenue of 4.047 billion yuan ($590 million) in the first quarter, down 14.07% year on year (y/y) and net profits of 56.22 million yuan in the same period, declining by 63.56% y/y, the company said in a report.

The truck giant saw sales decline in the first quarter but a significant rally in March.

According to the report, Sinotruk sold 15,300 heavy duty trucks in the first quarter, down 17.66% y/y. March sales reach 10,044 units, just falling by 4.49% y/y.
