FAW Mazda aims to sell 150,000 vehicles in 2010
FAW Mazda Motor Sales Co., Ltd., a China-based venture of Japan-based automobile giant Mazda Motor Corporation, recently announced that it planned to sell 150,000 vehicles in 2010.
In 2010, FAW Mazda will be prepared in various aspects, such as its product system and sales service system, for such a big stride in 2010, said the general manager of the venture.
In terms of model, its product outline will be complete with all kinds of products, such as high- and medium-grade cars, large and midsize MPVs, SUVs, and sports cars.
The 2009 sales volume of FAW Mazda surpassed 100,000. This year, FAW Mazda is reported to have two goals. Its monthly sales volume will surpass 10,000, and its yearly figure 150,000.
As early as March 2005, the venture was formed jointly by Mazda Motor and its Chinese partners FAW Car Co., Ltd. and China FAW Group Corporation, with a stake of 25, 70, and 5 percent, respectively.
