Dongfeng Motor to launch 2010 Joyear car in Beijing
Shanghai, April 20 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Motor will officially launch its Fengxing Jing Yi (Joyear) car on the press day (April 23, 2010) of the Beijing Auto Show. The standard, comfortable and luxury models will be sold with the price range between 79,800 ($1,170) to 10,800 yuan.
Compared with Dongfeng Motor's present vehicle models, the new Joyear's rear-view mirror has been greatly changed, with a new waistline added. In addition to titanium gray, sandy silver, pearl white, Meteor Black and carnelian red, Dongfeng has created the "World-Expo blue" for the 2010 Jing Yi car, aiming to celebrate the Shanghai World Expo., A red TT logo has been added, which echoes with Jing Yi TT's red calipers well.
The 2010 Jing Yi car measures 4320mm x 1804mm x 1620mm, and its wheelbase is 2685mm，which shows the car's advantages in the whole body size compared with the same level competitors and also brings out its excellent interior space. Besides, the Jing Yi car is equipped with the 1.8L aluminum Mitsubishi 4G93 engine which uses the dual overhead camshafts and electronic throttle technology and has pretty good performance and reliability, with a maximum power and torque of 103kW and 168Nm, respectively.
