Alternative energy cars sales grows promptly in China in 2014H1

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai, July 14) - According to statistics of China Auto Industry Association of auto industry in June, sales of green energy auto of June exceed entire sales of the segment in the first half-year.

Market of auto in June is: production and sales of the industry falls back, and increases over last year; production and sales of passenger car increases dramatically; production and sales of commercial car falls back over last month; market share of China owned brand keeps falling; performance of key companies of auto industry run well; production and sales of motorcycle increases over last month, but decrease over last year; export of motorcycle increases obviously.

In June, production and sales of auto slightly falls back over last month. Compared with market performance of last year, growth of production increases fast, but growth of sales is obviously slower than growth of production. Production and sales of auto industry in June are 1.86 and 1.85 million of cars, which have decreased 6.1% and 3.4% over marker performance of last month, but have increased 10.8% and 5.2% over last year. Production and sales of China owned auto companies have achieved 11.78 and 11.68 million of cars, which have increased 9.6% and 8.4% over the same period of last year. Growth reduces 3.2% and 3.9% respectively over the same period of last year.

The most highlights are the fast growth of green energy auto. Sales of single June exceed the entire sales of the first half-year.

According to statistics, production and sales of green energy auto in the first half year are 20,692 and 20,477 of cars respectively, which have increased 2.3 and 2.2 times over last year. Production and sales are more than the figures for the first half-year. Production and sales of BEV have achieved 12,185 and 11,777 of cars; production and sales of PHEV have achieved 8,507 and 8,700 of cars.

With more and more support policies and charging facilities investment, pace of green energy auto will speed up.

In the first half year, sales of top 10 auto companies are 10.51 million of cars, which have increased 10.7% over the same period of last year, and 2.5 points more than industry average. It takes 89.9% of entire sales of auto industry, which is 1.9% more than performance of last year.
