New government policy encourages technology innovation of electric vehicle on endurance mileage

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 10) – On June 5th, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released new policy of electric passenger car enterprise management which would be put into effect on July 10th. In this policy, the investment and production scale of new auto enterprise won't be limited to minimum requirement. But the speed should be over 100 kilometers per hour and endurance mileage should be over 100 kilometers.

The policy requires the weight of electric car whose length is less than or equal to 4 meter and whose endurance mileage is between 100 and 150 kilometers should be less than 1 t, the weight of electric car whose length is less than 4 meter and whose endurance mileage is between 151 and 200 kilometers should be less than 1.2 t.

Besides, there are 4 requirements in new policy for newly registered enterprise. Firstly, the enterprise should be registered in China and possesses capital scale and financing capacity matched with project investment. Secondly, the enterprise should possess complete research and development experience. Thirdly, the trial-manufacture capacity of vehicle. Fourthly, the number of sample electric passenger cars of same model manufactured shouldn't be less than 15.
