Borgward localizes production of its first SUV BX7 in China with independent sales channel

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 16) - Borgward, a german auto brand which once enjoyed equal popularity with BMW and Mercedes-Benz, has recently officially started the journey of resurrection by its strategy in China.

In the opening ceremony of this Frankfurt International Motor Show yesterday, Borgward had launched to the global market BX7 its first SUV models since resurrection, which is the key factor contributing to the success of its resurrection.

BX7 the first SUV has been developed in Germany. As for the Chinese automobile market, the automaker’s local plant in Beijing has been prepared for the localization production of the model. Ulrich added that work has been initialed in recruiting sales channels. We planned to have recruited no less than 100 dealers in China by the end of 2016. Our supply chain systems include famous companies such as Bosch, Siemens and other international well-known parts supplier.

Ulrich also shared some information about the future production layout that the enterprise will first pay attention to the SUV products. The next new product will be a small SUV. In the future, there also will be new car models launched.
