China-made Zhongxing SUV to enter the U.S. market

Chinese automaker Zhongxing Automobile will export pickup and SUV models to Mexico from the beginning of this year, According to reports.

"The SUV models to be sold in Mexico will be priced at 12,000 U.S. dollars, and this will be our first China's auto brand." Bill Pollack said, Chairman of the Chamco Company, which is located in New Jersey. He also said, “The Company hopes China Zhongxing Automobile Company to export 50,000 duty-free vehicles to Mexico and establish an auto assembly plant for car assembly, and then exports the autos to the United States."

In addition, Pollack disclosed that its plan is to maintain production cost 20% lower than the industry average level.

Zhongxing Automobile Company is a Chinese rising star in the automobile industry just like Great Wall Motors, Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. and Chery Automobile.

Chamco, the only North American automobile partner of Zhongxing Automobile Company, expects that sales in the first year can be as high as 20,000 units in the Mexican market.

Finally, Pollack said, Zhongxing Automobile Company models are in full compliance with European and Mexican automobile safety requirements and meet the local requirements of the emission standards; models produced in Mexico will be consistent with the motor vehicle provisions of the United States.
