China-exported vehicles, average price stands at $11,200

Shanghai. August 17 (Gasgoo.com) - The average unit price of China-exported vehicles has rose to $11,200 in the first half of this year, according to a report prepared by Automobile Department of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.

In the first half of this year, China exported 241,000 entire vehicles, up 71.2% year on year. Total value of the exported vehicles reached $2.7 billion, up 110.7% from a year earlier.

China exported 104,000 units of heavy duty vehicles in the first half year, up 59.1% year on year. Heavy duty vehicles represent 43.2% of China's total vehicles exports.

However, total value of China-exported heavy duty vehicles reached $792 million in the first half year, up 85.3% from a year earlier. In terms of export value, heavy duty vehicles represent 29.3% of China's total vehicle exports.

"Special Purpose Vehicles", which has experienced remarkable increase in the first half year, represents 5.4% of China's total vehicle exports, however the total export value of Special Purpose Vehicles represents 23.6% of China's total vehicle exports.

China's export tax rebate remains 17% except for motorcycles and some high-pollution, energy and raw materials consuming auto parts, according to experts from Automobile Department of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.
