Shanghai. September 6 (Gasgoo.com) – Due to the rebounding sales of SYLPHY and TEANA in August, Dongfeng Nissan has sold 172,000 vehicles in the first eight months.
This means the company may meet its 300,000 sales target for this year, according to a Chinese media report.
Dongfeng Nissan sold 128,000 vehicles in the first six months. The less-than-expected H1 sales volume raised doubts about company’s chances to meet its annual sales targets.
In August, Dongfeng Nissan’s sales rebounded to 24,200 vehicles, up 40 percent year on year, turning the company one of the top six automaker in China.
However, price-cuts in July has resulted a strong sales rebound in August, which has effectively raised the company’s chances to meet its annual target.
