Michelin's biggest tires work in China's coal mines

Shanghai. September 21 (Gasgoo.com) The largest tires produced by Michelin were put into use in a coal mine in Pingshu, Shanxi province, Chinese media reported today.

The Michelin-made 53/80R63XDRB tire is 3.9 meters in diameter, 4 tons in weight. Its maximum duty is 84 tons. The KomatsuHD930E truck, equipped with these tires, is capable of carrying 292 tons of cargo.

The 53/80R63XDRB tires are primarily used in coal mines or other mining operations.
