Porsche expected to sell over 4000 vehicles in China this year
Shanghai. October 31 (Gasgoo.com) - Porsche is expected to sell 4,000 Porsche vehicles in Chinese market this year, making China its second largest overseas market after the United States, the Shanghai-based Jiefang Daily reported today.
Meanwhile, the number of Porsche's dealerships will be increased to 20 this year from 5 in 2005 in Chinese market, the report said.
Last year, Porsche sold 2,305 vehicles in Chinese market while it sold 17,500 units in Germany and 36,095 units in North America.
Separately, Porsche announced to hire a senior BMW executive, Helmut Broeker to replace Mark Bishop as the company's general manager in China.
