Shanghai. November 8 (Gasgoo.com) - Nissan's luxury Infiniti M35 will make its China debut at next month's Guangzhou Motor Show, Chinese media reported today.
This is another significant move after the Japanese automaker just launched the Infiniti G35 and FX SUV in China two month ago. The Infiniti M35, with its small V6 engine, can accelerate to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds and covers a standing quarter mile in 14.8 seconds.
Taking Audi A6, Benz E-series, BMW 5-series and Lexus ES as its rivals in China, Infiniti M35 is forecast to be priced at about 538,000 yuan ($72,179) to 578,000 yuan ($76,472), a bit higher than Infiniti G35.
Currently Infiniti G35 is sold at between 450,000 yuan ($60,373) and 500,000 yuan ($67,081) in Chinese market, and Infiniti SUV is sold at between 650,000($87,205) and 800,000 yuan ($107,329).
