The joint venture is expected to be able to assemble 250,000 heavy trucks annually by 2012.

Founded in 1916, Likhachev-AMO ZIL is Russia’s largest heavy truck maker. It produces 3-8 ton trucks, pickups, minibuses and tourism buses, with annual output of 30,000 units.
