Shanghai. December 26 (Gasgoo.com) – Total revenue of automobile electronic products in Chinese market has reached RMB 115 billion (USD 15.64 billion) in 2007, up 30 percent year-on-year, according to a market research report prepared by CCDI Consulting.
Electronic products equipped on power train, chassis and safety account for more than a half of China’s total automobile electronics, the report said.
Auto transmission is becoming an inevitable trend in China’s automobile industry and this will push up powertrain electronic products in Chinese market, said Li Shu, director of semi-conduct research center of CCDI Consulting.
In chassis and safety system, in addition to ABC electronics, braking electronics and stabilizing electronics will become widely used in new vehicle models,
“In the coming years, powertrain electronics, braking electronics, in-vehicle GPS, TPMS and in-vehicle MP3 will become hot selling in automobile electronics market,” Li said.
By 2011, according to CCDI Consulting, total revenue of automobile electronic products will reach RMB 240 billion (USD 32.64 billion). “In the next a few years, total revenue of China’s automobile electronics will grow 22.4 percent annually,” the report said.
