Shanghai, December 29 (Gasgoo.com) -As the Germany-based TUV Rheinland Group opens its first testing and certification service center in Wuxi city, Jiangshu province. This means Chinese auto parts suppliers will be able to have their vehicles testified and certified by the German institution at home rather than aboard, China News Agency reported today.

Official figures show that TUV Rheinland undertakes about 80-percent assessment services for the Chinese auto parts exporters. Piror to the establishment of the new center, Chinese suppliers had to travel all the way to Germany for certification, which is both time-wasting and excessively expensive.

Experts say this opening of this facility will further boost China's auto parts exportation.

In the first ten months of this year, China exported $13.25 billion worth of auto parts products, up 30 percent year-on-year, according to China’s Ministry of Commerce. China’s auto parts exports have been growing 30 percent annually since 2002.
