Shaanxi Automobile sold 60,000 heavy trucks in 2007

Shanghai. January 2 (Gasgoo.com) - China's Shaanxi Automobile Group, also known as Shaanxi Heavy Trucks has sold 60,000 heavy trucks in 2007, compared with 15,000 units in 2006, the company said in its annual conference recently.
 
By the end of 2007, Shaanxi Heavy Trucks total production value has reached 18 billion yuan (USD 2.46 billion), and its total export value reached $250 million. 
 
"Shaanxi Automobile aims at producing 100,000 heavy trucks by 2010 and 120,000 by 2012," said Zhang Yupu, Chairman of the Board of Shaanxi Automobile Group.
 
Zhang also said that China's economic growth and fixed-asset investments are the driving force behind heavy-truck sales.
