China sold 1.52 million vehicles in the first two months, up 19.21% Y/Y

Shanghai. March 11 (Gasgoo.com) – China produced 1.48 million vehicles in the first two months, up 10.69 percent from one year earlier, while the country sold 1.52 million vehicles in the same period, up 19.27 percent from one year earlier, according to a recent report released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
 
In the first two months, China produced a total of 1.08 million passenger vehicles, up 9.43 percent from one year earlier and sold 1.15 million passenger vehicles, up 18.64 percent, the report said.
 
During the same period, China produced a total of 401,600 commercial vehicles, up 14.25 percent from one year earlier and sold 371,500 commercial vehicles, up 21.26 percent from one year earlier.
 
In February, China produced a total of 656,400 vehicles, down 20.51 percent month-on-month and up 14.42 percent year-on-year. In the same month, China sold a total of 663,600 vehicles, down 22.73 percent month-on-month and up 19.21 percent year-on-year.
