Russia OKa cars will be powered by Tianjin FAW engine

Recently Russian Serpukhov Automobile factory claimed that OKa brand cars will be power the 53 horsepower and 993ml engine produced by China's Tianjin FAW.

Russia's Tass News Agency reported that the Chinese engines were introduced in autumn last year. Recently, the plant and Tianjin FAW signed long-term supply contracts on equipment engine and its accessories due to the engines are in line with the European II, which will be promoted in the whole nation before 2008.

Beschastnov, marketing manager of the plant said: "The contract stipulated that 20,000 set of powertrain provided by China."
