China's top ten passenger car makers in March released

Shanghai, April 10 (Gasgoo.com) – Chinese car makers sold a total of 511.237 passenger cars, including sedans, multi-purpose vehicles, sport utility vehicles and crossovers in March, up 18.5 percent from a year earlier, according to the China Passenger Car Association.

FAW VW, with a single-month sales volume of 54,279 vehicles in March, holds the first place in China's sedan market. FAW VW is closely followed by Shanghai-VW, which sold 51,388 vehicles in the month and Chery finishing up third with 46,181 units sold. 

Top ten car makers posted aggregated sales of 345,800 units,  representing 47 percent of the total sales volume.
