GAC was Exposed Personnel Adjustment Again with Top Executives Move Frequently

Shanghai December 27th, 2016 Gasgoo – The QCTT APP learned on Dec 23rd that the GAC Group has implement personnel adjustment again.

Mr. Feng Xingya, deputy chairman and general manager of GAC Group and director of its executive committee, will hold a concurrent post as chairman of GAC’s passenger car department; Mr. Wu Song, current vice-general maneger of GAC Group and chairman of GAC’s passenger car department, will also be chairman of GAC Toyota; and Mr. Li Shao, vice-general manager of GAC Group and vice-director of its executive committee, will take an additional post as chairman of GAC Honda.

The GAC Group hasn’t formally announced the adjustment yet.The GAC Group has had personnel adjusted frequently in 2016, involving several top executives and its three passenger car businesses GAC Fick, GAC Honda and GAC assenger cars.

In September, it was announced that Mr. Zhang Fangyou would leave office in October and succeed by Mr. Zeng Qinghong, then vice-chairman and general manager of GAC Group. On the 35th meeting of GAC Group’s 4th board members in November, Zeng Qinghong formally took office, and the GAC Group stepped into an age of Mr. Zeng Qinghong then.

It’s also on the 35th meeting of GAC’s 4th board that Mr. Feng Xingya was named deputy chairman and general manager of GAC Group and director of its executive committee, before that he was deputy general manager of GAC Group and deputy director of its executive committee. While Mr. Wu Song was just take charge as vice-general maneger of GAC Group and chairman of GAC’s passenger car department in June, before then he was executive director of GAC Group and director and general manager of GAC’s passenger car department.

During the past 11 months, the GAC Group has had 1481498 units vehicles sold, a year-on-year increase of 32.71%, among which there are 335947 units self-owned brand vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 102.59%.

The GAC Group is under expectation with the age of Zeng Qinghong.
