Self-owned Brand to Dominate BAIC Motor Exhibition Booth at Shanghai Auto show

Shanghai, April 13rd, Gasgoo - The BAIC motor self-owned brand is reported to play the main role in the maker’s exhibition booth at Shanghai motor show.The concept car Saab OFFSPACE D70 , which made its debut in last Beijing motor show ,together with the new Saab D50 and new energy cars ARCFOX-1 production edition will also come to the upcoming auto show.

It’s unknown whether SAAB OFFSPACE D70 has come close to production or not.The car is expected to put into production in 2018 and should be the replacement product  D70, the second sedan model of “self-owned 2.0 generation”after the D50. The D50 is designed by the famous Italian engineers to meet the youth-oriented trend. The D50 pays great attention to the look and improvement of the family design elements.The smart and intelligent features convey the development ideas of BAIC self-owned 2.0 generation.

To make sure the products of second generation of self-owned brands ellipse from the competitors,the BAIC motor has established a strong supporting systems to enhance its R&D.Except that, the automaker also work together with Daimler ,Baidu and other giants in related industries.

The new Saab D50 and OFFSPACE D70 is based on the D and F platform, D is a A-class vehicles underpinning and F is B-calss.

The concept car ARCFOX-1 made its debut in Beijing auto show last year while we will see the production version at Shanghai motor show. The base price is two-seat small electric car is expected to be above 10 thousand.
