Changan PSA Personnel Exchange

Shanghai June 1st, 2017 Gasgoo-On May 31st, Gasgoo learned that board of directors of Changan Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co. Ltd. (Changan PSA) announced new appointments: Ying Zhanwang would no longer serve as executive vice president of Changan PSA, he would work as chief expert in the Chinese Changan automobile; the former vice president of Changan PSA Shen Mingjun would be promoted to serve as executive vice president of Changan PSA.

Since 1982, Ying Zhanwang successively has been worked in Nanjing automobile, Changan automobile, Changan Ford Mazda and other companies, engaged in technology planning and management, product development, quality, IT and company management. 

since serving as vice president of the Changan PSA in March this year, the successor Shen Mingjun has launched a number of initiatives in a short time, and he proposed a new work direction of “meet the challenges by reform”.

Shen Mingjun has more than 25 years of experience in automotive field, he has been engaged in engineering design, product planning, market research, overseas sales and joint venture management work in Changan automobile, and he has served as vice president of Automotive Engineering Research Institute, General manager of Hefei Changan Automobile Co, General manager of the overseas division and Cooperation Department Minister. Being experienced, He is an automobile industry veteran.

According to relevant sources, the promotion of Shen to executive vice president aims to further implement the strategy of strengthening the Changan PSA management and enhancing and accelerating the development of DS in china by two parent companies. For Chinese market,  DS is still a very young luxury brand and has a huge room for improvement. This adjustment may will reverse DS’ situation in China, and lead to a positive role in the subsequent development.
