SAIC Motor launches “Xiangdao Zuche” mobility service brand for enterprise usage
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC Motor announced on April 28 that it has officially launched the enterprise-class mobility service brand dubbed “Xiangdao Zuche” as part of upgrading strategy for “Xiangdao Chuxing”, a mobility service brand launched in last December.
The “Xiangdao Zuche” (“Zuche” means “car rental” in Chinese) is dedicated to providing comprehensive service and technology solutions for business trips, employees' travels as well as vehicle and chauffeur management.
According to SAIC Motor,“Xiangdao Zuche” is attached to Anji Car Rental and Leasing Co., Ltd, a 50/50 joint venture between Shanghai Automotive Industry Sales Co.,Ltd and ABG (Avis Budge Group), starting from 2002. The company has operated in a total of 154 cities in China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Shenzhen, serving over 1,000 companies. For now, the joint venture has become a wholly-owned subsidy of SAIC Motor after the state-owned automaker recently agreed an equity-changing agreement with ABG.
As China's biggest car group, SAIC Motor boasts great advantages in mobility service field with doubt. First of all, it is victorious over Internet platforms in vehicle purchase and maintenance that can achieve a good cost control performance. It is reported that vehicles deployed by “Xiangdao Zuche” come from such models as the Passat, the Buick Regal, the Buick GL8, and so on.
Besides, the automaker's two in-car intelligent systems—OnStar and Banma—are able to collect huge amount of users’ data so as to help the company improve vehicle operation and mobility service quality along with big data, AI and cloud computing technologies.
