Spy shots of Geely’s all-new SUV based on CMA exposed
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, local media managed to get some spy shots of an all-new SUV of Geely. The new car is set to be built on the company’s CMA (compact modular architecture), judging from the English marked on its camouflage.

The new model seemingly gets Geely’s new iconic design. Shield-shaped grille with vertical straight chrome-plated trims is used in its front part. The headlight with three clusters is arranged in a flat pattern. The middle light cluster is yellow, while those on both sides are integrated white LED lights. It also has two raised ribs on the engine hood to make the front more sophisticated. In addition, it features double five-spoke rims. Inside the vehicle, the new SUV comes with electronic gear selector and similar three-spoke multifunction steering wheel to that of Lynk & Co’s models.
Besides, Geely Automobile officially announced on Jan. 10 the Chinese name “Haoyue” of its all-new mid-sized SUV model code-named “VX11”. The automaker also released a photo of the model at the same time.
Geely Holding announced its 2019 auto sales rose 1.23% from a year ago to roughly 2.2 million units. Last year, Geely Auto sold 1,361,560 new vehicles (including the sales of Lynk & Co-branded vehicles) in total, not only exceeding its annual target, but topping the other China’s self-owned PV makers for three consecutive years.
