Changan Auto YTD sales surpass 2 million vehicles by November
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile’s November sales performance dropped from October, but its cumulative sales to date managed to surpass 2 million vehicles by the end of the month.
In November, the automaker sold 188,030 vehicles in total, dropping 7% from the earlier month and 14.35% fewer than a year ago. In the first eleven months, the accumulative sales of the company jumped 17.72% compared to last year, to 2,122,511 vehicles.
Changan Auto’s wholly-owned brands sold 1,631,428 vehicles by November this year, increasing 19.77% from 2020. With 1,126,060 vehicles sold, the group’s self-owned passenger vehicle sector managed a 26.69% rise year on year.

Its wholly-owned intelligent vehicle line, the UNI series, sold 10,506 vehicles in November. On November 17th, the series welcomed its first sedan model, the UNI-V.
Changan Mazda, the joint venture between Changan Auto and Mazda Motor, amounted to 14,676 vehicles during the month, increasing 9.07% compared to the earlier year.
The other joint venture of the group, Changan Ford, sold 28,943 vehicles in November, remaining flat from a year ago.
During the same month, Changan Auto sold 6,494 vehicles overseas. Moreover, the automaker sold 11,279 new energy vehicles in November, edging up 3.2% month on month.
