JAC Group's Apr. sales surge 62.53% YoY

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In the fourth month of 2023, JAC Group retained a double-digit growth in sales, according to the sales report the company released on May 8.

In April, JAC Group sold a total of 44,512 vehicles, representing a 62.53% surge year-over-year. Among which, 24,058 units were passenger vehicles, shooting up 84.07% from a year ago. At the same time, JAC Group sold 20,454 commercial vehicles in the past month to reflect a 42.87% jump compared to the earlier year. 

In the first four months of this year, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 182,897 vehicles, jumping 16.68% year on year. 

In addition, of the vehicle sold in the Jan.-Apr. period, 38,910 units were new energy passenger vehicles, which accounted for roughly 37.85% of the company’s total passenger vehicle sales in the period. 

Regarding JAC Group’s performance in the overseas markets, an outstanding 96.55% year-on-year hike was scored as the Chinese automaker exported 12,019 vehicles in the past month. In the first four months of the year, JAC Group’s cumulative export volume came in at 58,181 vehicles, which leapt 96.98% from a year ago.
