JD.com, ZF Aftermarket team up in automobile aftermarket area
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 9, 2023, the automobile sales unit of JD.com (called "JD" for short) and ZF Aftermarket officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, under which, over the next three years, the two parties will jointly implement the "JD-ZF Plan", engaging in in-depth co-construction in multiple areas such as product, user, channel, and service network.

At the signing ceremony, both parties stated that their future cooperation would be comprehensively upgraded, relying on the implementation of the "JD-ZF Plan" to cover the following four core areas:
● Expansion of consumer-oriented products and refined user operations: ZF's self-operated flagship store on JD’s platform will undergo a comprehensive upgrade. The duo will jointly release heavyweight new products dedicated to new energy vehicles and automotive maintenance, and combine ZF Aftermarket's industry-leading advantages in products with JD's digital capabilities and consumer-end data analysis capabilities to provide car owners with more products and increase its consumer loyalty.
● Co-construction of business-end products and channels: The two parties will integrate their respective advantageous resources, and use business-end tailor-made products as carriers to co-build a new business-focused channel ecosystem. Through the upgrade of channel and product strategies, car owners will be provided with higher-quality products and service experiences.
● Improvement of service network capabilities: The two companies will jointly develop product and service capabilities focusing on the demand for after-sales maintenance and parts replacement, and usage scenarios. ZF Aftermarket will continuously empower the stores of JD's car maintenance network through technical training, so as to comprehensively build a higher-quality service network, overall enhance product services and order fulfillment, and optimize user experiences.
● Upgrade of car owner-side marketing cooperation: The two parties will jointly hold a "ZF Super Brand Day" per month, continuously expanding the brand's influence through JD's core automotive channels, transmitting brand tones through the activities to be held on the Brand Day, and achieving precise targeting of target consumers.
