Dongfeng Motor Group achieves 11.32% YoY rise in Jan.-Apr. auto sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In April 2024, Dongfeng Motor Group Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor Group) sold 142,625 vehicles, which is 129 units more than that of a year ago, according to the automaker’s announcement on May 9.

Among the vehicles sold in the past month, 115,242 units were passenger vehicles, representing a 2.7% rise year-on-year. New energy vehicles accounted for 18.51% of the total passenger car sales in April, which came in at 21,335 units.
In the first four months of this year, Dongfeng Motor Group’s cumulative sales amounted to 664,715 vehicles, up 11.32% from the previous year.
Regarding individual performance of passenger vehicle companies wholly-owned by Dongfeng Motor Group, Dongfeng Motor Passenger Vehicle Company (including Aeolus, eπ, and NAMMI brands) sold 10,783 vehicles in April, representing a 33.72% surge year-over-year.
VOYAH, the premium new energy vehicle brand, saw a 19.89% year-on-year jump in April sales, which stood at 4,003 units.
Additionally, Dongfeng Motor Group’s luxury electric off-roader brand MHERO sold 144 vehicles last month. In April, MHERO made its official entry into the Swiss market, marking a significant step in the brand’s global expansion.
