The companies will co-develop an auto-grade hybrid solid-state LiDAR sensing solution based on ALS technology platform and hardware-level image integration. The partners will develop and deploy autonomous driving trucks powered by Tanway’s 96 beam to 192 beam LiDAR products under port and trunkline logistics scenarios.
Currently, Trunk.Tech has successfully launched its latest generation of a mass-producible autonomous driving system for commercial vehicles, the Trunk Master. The system has been implemented to hundreds of trucks, operating and testing under port and highway scenarios. Trunk.Tech now operates the largest autonomous driving truck fleet.
In 2021, the company was one of the first batch companies granted autonomous driving testing licenses by the city of Beijing and started normalized L4 autonomous driving tests on open highway roads.
During the past year, Tanway successively introduced iterated Scope products and the new 192 beam auto-grade hybrid solid-state LiDAR. The company has constructed an auto-grade factory and completed product delivery in 2021. Tanway’s LiDAR provides support in multiple scenarios, including V2X, intelligent logistics, and autonomous driving.
