China’s ArcherMind becomes adopter of Baidu’s ERNIE Bot

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s automotive intelligence solution developer ArcherMind Technology (ArcherMind) announced on February 23 its decision to become one of the early users of Baidu’s ChatGPT-like AI technology, ERNIE Bot.

Built on the nuanced language capability of ERNIE Bot, ArcherMind and Baidu will jointly build large model AI interactive products dedicated to smart cars. 

ERNIE Bot is a generative AI product based on Baidu’s ERNIE (Wenxin in Chinese) large model technology. With over ten years of experience in the AI field, Baidu’s industrial-level knowledge-enhanced ERNIE large model holds the ability of deep semantic understanding and generation across modalities and languages, providing a broader imagination space in areas such as search, question answering, content creation generation, and intelligent office. 

ArcherMind is a leading operating system expert that has been deeply involved in the field of smart cars for over a decade. It has independently developed full-stack R&D capability for a cross-domain integrated vehicle software computing platform that includes the smart cockpit domain, central control domain, and intelligent driving domain. For many years, ArcherMind has maintained deep exploration and extensive practice in the field of artificial intelligence, regarding AI as an important driving force for the transformation of automotive intelligence. 

Through the cooperation, ArcherMind will have the priority to test out ERNIE Bot internally, integrating its full range of capabilities. The duo will work closely to deepen cooperation in multiple areas such as product development and standard formulation. With the assistance of Baidu's technology team, a large-scale AI interactive experience model tailored to the smart car scenario will be created through technology sharing, training empowerment, and joint marketing.
