The patent abstract reveals that it enables the vehicle cabin to cool down to a suitable temperature after the owner leaves and locks the car. The method described in the patent includes determining the target wake-up time of the vehicle based on real time, future weather information, and the initial temperature inside the vehicle at the time of locking.
When the target wake-up time is reached, and the vehicle is awakened, the temperature inside the cabin, which includes the second temperature inside the vehicle or the temperature of the target device inside the vehicle, is determined. If the cabin temperature exceeds the first temperature threshold, the cabin is cooled down.
Furthermore, according to the patent documentation, after estimating the target wake-up time for the temperature inside the vehicle to reach the first temperature threshold, the cooling of the cabin is not initiated immediately. Instead, the temperature inside the cabin is checked again to verify if it is indeed above the first temperature threshold. Only when it exceeds the threshold, the vehicle's cooling system is activated. This approach avoids unnecessary cooling operations due to estimation errors, reducing energy consumption associated with incorrect cooling execution.
