Huawei Cloud launches autonomous driving development platform

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Huawei Cloud officially unveiled its autonomous driving development platform at an event held in Ulanqab today.

Built on the Pangu large model and ModelArtsAI development pipeline, the platform offers a range of capabilities, including data generation, automatic annotation, model training, cloud-based simulation, virtual-reality combined simulation, and closed-loop data processing.

This platform aims to help automakers and commercial vehicle enterprises accelerate the development, validation, and optimization of autonomous driving algorithms, reducing costs and risks while improving efficiency and safety.

Currently, the platform has been applied in various scenarios for multiple automakers, including Changan Auto and FAW Group, as well as commercial vehicle applications like mining trucks, port ART vehicles, and specialized logistics heavy trucks.

In addition to the platform launch, Huawei Cloud signed strategic cooperation agreements with Human Horizons, HoloMatic, Saimo Technology, and Stardust Data, declaring their commitment to deepening collaborations in cloud services, big data, and other autonomous driving technologies.

Moreover, Huawei Cloud offers a suite of services, including high-precision map services, fleet management, regulatory operations, and over-the-air upgrades. The company also provides professional services like autonomous driving solution design, algorithm evaluation, and iterative optimization, to facilitate the adoption of autonomous driving across various industries.
