Innovusion hits delivery milestone of 200,000 automotive LiDAR units

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Innovusion, a global LiDAR maker from Silicon Valley, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, surpassing the delivery of 200,000 units in the car-mounted LiDAR market by November 2023, the company announced via its WeChat account on November 16.

Since its inception, Innovusion has deeply embedded high-performance elements into its core. The company holds a comprehensive range of hardware products and proprietary software platforms, offering the industry a flexible and varied product matrix.

The company's approach to production involves highly automated processes, digitalized control over production details, flexible assembly lines accommodating four product variants, and modularized design simplifying assembly. This lean production approach significantly enhances production line flexibility and efficiency, facilitating efficient production line implementation within 6 to 9 months.

Innovusion, in collaboration with esteemed customers, has undergone rigorous validation and successfully integrated high-performance LiDAR into nine mass-produced vehicle models. At the same time, the company’s cooperation reach also encompasses several autonomous driving solution developer for commercial vehicles, such as TuSimple, Zhito Technology, Plus, DeepWay, etc.

With an annual production capacity exceeding 300,000 units, Innovusion is strategically aligning new production lines to commence mass production by December 2023.
