Previously, the company has expanded its footprint in the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port’s Meidong Terminal by deploying 62 unmanned container trucks. This new deployment at the Yongzhou Terminal aims to establish a fully autonomous transport fleet and offer enhanced transportation services.

Throughout its six years of operation, FABU.ai has successfully developed a comprehensive set of software and hardware products tailored for the port industry. These products seamlessly integrate autonomous driving capabilities with remote control and universal dispatch management services, creating an efficient value chain that reduces costs.

FABU.ai's primary goal since its inception has been achieving "fully autonomous driving." Their autonomous transport system, FabuDrive, after several iterations, now efficiently supports six standard routes of fully autonomous operations at the Meidong Terminal, home to the world's largest unmanned container truck fleet.

The newly introduced IGVs at the Yongzhou Terminal represent a paradigm shift in horizontal transportation. Their standout feature, the absence of a leading vehicle, embodies genuine full autonomy. The IGVs offer flexible operations, supporting various modes like forward, reverse, full and semi-eight turning, and diagonal movements. Moreover, within a short span, the IGVs seamlessly integrated into Yongzhou's smart infrastructure, effectively streamlining the entire automated operation chain, alongside automated rail cranes and remote-controlled bridge cranes. These advancements are estimated to directly save over 500,000 yuan per IGV annually in labor costs.
